Get answers to common questions about HAMMAM.

Expect a steam session to open pores, followed by a thorough kessa scrub, a rinsing ritual, and optional oiling or light massage. The experience is warm, restorative, and leaves skin purified and soft.

HAMMAM can be adapted for sensitive or acne-prone skin using gentler scrubs and soothing products. We evaluate skin beforehand and may avoid aggressive exfoliation if active inflammation or open lesions are present.

A full HAMMAM session typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes depending on add-ons. Time includes steaming, full-body exfoliation, rinsing, and optional oiling or massage to complete the ritual.

Avoid HAMMAM if you have open wounds, contagious skin infections, uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent surgery, or certain cardiovascular conditions. Pregnant clients should consult their physician prior to booking.

Arrive well-hydrated and avoid heavy lotions or recent aggressive exfoliation. Remove jewelry and inform your therapist of allergies, medications, or skin concerns so we can tailor the treatment safely.

Aftercare includes staying hydrated, applying gentle moisturizers, avoiding hot tubs or vigorous exercise for 24 hours, and delaying intense exfoliation for several days to preserve the renewed skin barrier.
