Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Eyelash Tint.
Eyelash tints typically last four to six weeks, fading gradually as lashes naturally shed. Results vary with individual growth cycles, skincare routines, and exposure to oil-based products or frequent water and steam. Touch-ups are recommended every 4–6 weeks for consistent color.
Yes, Eyelash Tint can be safe when performed by trained technicians using hypoallergenic, professional dyes. We recommend a patch test for sensitive clients and removal of contact lenses during the procedure. Always disclose allergies or eye conditions before treatment.
Tinting darkens the entire lash shaft, creating the illusion of fuller, more noticeable lashes but it does not add length or volume. Combine tinting with a lash lift or extensions for more dramatic length and curl.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes and avoid waterproof mascara for 24–48 hours. Remove contact lenses before your appointment. Please inform your technician of allergies and discontinue lash serums 48 hours prior. Note: a 50% deposit is required to book this service.
Most clients experience no issues; occasional mild redness or irritation can occur. Severe allergic reactions are rare. We perform a patch test for concerned clients and will advise against tinting if sensitivity or contraindications are present.
Avoid getting lashes wet and postpone eye makeup for at least 24 hours to allow dye to fully set. Avoid steam, saunas, and oil-based products for the first 48 hours to maximize longevity and prevent premature fading.
