During a Reiki session you'll rest fully clothed on a treatment table while a certified practitioner uses gentle, hands-on energy techniques. Many clients report deep relaxation, warmth, and tingling sensations as blocked energy releases and calm, balanced feelings emerge before and after treatment.

Sessions typically last between 45 and 90 minutes, with 60 minutes being common. Your practitioner will discuss goals, perform the treatment, and allow time for gentle transition afterward. Longer sessions may be recommended for deeper or chronic concerns.

Reiki is gentle and noninvasive, often considered safe for most people, including pregnant clients, but always disclose health conditions, implants, or medications. We recommend consulting your primary provider if you have serious medical issues, and your practitioner will tailor the session accordingly.

Prepare by wearing comfortable clothing and avoiding heavy meals or stimulants beforehand. After your Reiki session, allow yourself quiet time, hydrate, and notice changes in mood or sleep. Light movement and rest often enhance the treatment's calming, restorative effects.

Reiki works on the body's subtle energy system to release tension, reduce stress responses, and promote parasympathetic activation. This supports improved sleep, lowered anxiety, and emotional balance, helping clients feel renewed energy and a calmer, more centered state after sessions.

To reserve Reiki appointments a 50% deposit is required. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance for a full deposit credit toward rescheduling. Late cancellations or no-shows forfeit the deposit; contact us to discuss exceptions or emergencies.
