Microblading results usually last 12 to 18 months depending on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Oily skin and sun exposure can fade pigment faster. Annual touch-ups or color boosters are recommended to maintain the crisp, natural hair-stroke appearance.
Most clients feel mild discomfort similar to light scratching. We apply topical numbing to minimize pain during treatment. Sensitivity varies; some experience minor soreness or swelling after the session that subsides within a few days with proper aftercare.
Aftercare includes keeping brows dry for 48 hours, applying recommended ointment, avoiding makeup, saunas, and heavy sweating for two weeks, and protecting pigment from sun exposure. Follow-up touch-up is scheduled four to eight weeks after initial appointment to perfect results.
Sensitive skin may be more reactive, but many clients with sensitivity can still receive microblading safely. We perform a consultation and optional patch test, adjust pigment and technique, and provide specific aftercare to reduce irritation and ensure optimal healing and results.
Initial microblading appointments typically last 90 to 120 minutes, including consultation, mapping, numbing, and the procedure itself. Touch-up sessions are shorter, usually 45 to 60 minutes. We schedule extra time to ensure precise shaping and client comfort.
